Happy LURVE DAY everyone.

For some people, today is about celebrating being in love with their significant other. Others, today, may be the day you meet your perfect match. And for others, today is a chance to say “I love you” to your favourite friends and family members.

We spoke to Venue Insiders favourite professional chef, Adam Smith (of Hotel Gitan, Jacques Reymond and Bistro Thierry, and Streat Charity cookbook fame). We asked what he would prepare if he were to make Valentine’s dinner for the one he loves. He was quick to point out that he has never had a Valentines night off but he said he would prepare the below for his lovely wife Jane.

“It’s a tough question”

A whole baked fish with an Asian slaw. Fresh Light and easy to prepare and goes really well with Champagne.

“At the end of the day, it has to be something that doesn’t involve a lot of time to complete but also something that you know they would love.” Adam tell us. Nahhh, that’s so nice Ads.

If you aren’t lucky enough to have a professional chef cook you a delicious dinner at home, then why not check out one of these events around Melbourne or Sydney and join others.
